If you haven't read @wicksend yet, I highly recommend. Eighty has such an incredible talent when it comes to story telling, and while I've said it before I'll say it till I'm blue in the face, the way she's able to take a comedic scenario and then apply this heavy sort of realism/consequence is just so emotionally investing.
Set in a fantasy RPG, selfless soldier Glendale cheats death at the cost of living on with a curse. Now 6" tall, he quests with his personal servant Harry (a dog that has mysteriously turned human) and comrade Freya to find cures for their respective ailments.

What was your inspiration to make this? The story is based off of a dream that I had.
When will the comic be updated? There are 10 planned chapters total, but it will only be updated when I feel inspired to do so.

although the story is about my experience with burnout, these past few years, i've found myself having to learn similar life-lessons over and over. we're all tired, thoroughly busy, and trudging through our own insecurities.
i feel like over these past few years especially -- with glen to put as the face of 'someone whose burnt out, but still valuable as an individual' -- this has helped me go through each phase with increased understand, patience, and self-love.
that said, although most of my activity with story + blog asks belonged to the 1st year, i have every intention for this story to be told in its planned 10-chapter entirety. whether or not that takes a few years, it will be done in a way that is balanced -- not to my detriment.
without you, dear readers, this would have remained a simple, scribbled pilot. i appreciate all of your reblogs, comments, tags, fanart, etc; they help motivate me when i have moments of doubt. thank you all for you support, enthusiasm, and patience.
