[txt]: Suppose we can go somewhere! [txt]: (That is to say, I wouldn't mind a little outing.) [txt]: Where are you? Any idea where we should go?

“Uh....well,” she paused for a moment, weighing it all out in her head. Was this normal conversation for a new interaction? Or would it be too intrusive? She had never met a troll and what she had already told her was fascinating but all the anatomy? Sounded kind of risque. Just her cup of tea.
“Ya know what? They say ya learn somethin’ new every day. Might as well make it somethin’ I often find myself interested in!”

Eyes observe from the top of a hill a chaotic situation below. There’s a group of people, a family by the looks of it with one child and two parents, both of whom seem to be anxious, worried. They’re hurrying along from a group of attackers, the dead, who luckily enough are slow and unable to keep up with the quickened pace from the trio. Beside him, not too far off, is a young woman that he’s not seen before, though her appearance interests him. She was different from the vast majority of citizens in the city, with vacant eyes and a cooled tone of greyed skin, all leading to a pair of twisted horns sprouting from the sides of her head. Almost like a woman from a tale of elders, though in the flesh of his presence.
He remains in silence for a moment or two before finding his voice. It’s nothing impressive to ask, but he has to know in order to engage in his own plan. “Are you going to help those people?”

Galekh was just trying to kill some time, really. And what better way to waste time than to go to a festival?
He wasn’t really… doing anything there, either. Seems he just needed a change of scenery, and something bustling like the Celebration of Life was a good way to get his mind off of things.
Wandering around, hands folded behind his back, he soon caught sight of a large bonfire, and… the unfamiliar troll seemingly loitering around it. She looked to be throwing things in every now and then, watching the fire crackle with delight as it devoured her offerings. Blinking, he stepped closer after a moment, just watching from the sidelines before speaking up in a clear and concise manner.
“…What are you doing?”

SOLLUX: 0h y0u’ve g0tta be shitting me. i think i liked it better when i had my 0ther eyepatch with me. SOLLUX: y0u kn0w, the benifits 0f n0t being able t0 see s0me pe0ple is that i d0n’t actually have t0 talk t0 them 0r at least have them guild me ar0und with0ut having t0 d0 the w0rk. SOLLUX: ... SOLLUX: actually i’m glad i can partially see y0u, y0u’d pr0bably fuck with me and walk me d0wn a bunch 0f stairs 0r s0mething.
[Jumping the gun so soon, despite not seeing or talking with the other troll in... a while? For humans it was something called months, but it probably wasn’t even that long between the two. Did she even leave this place before you did, or was it the other way around? Did that actually matter? No. So why are you even think about it.]
SOLLUX: anyways, what’ve y0u been up tw0 besides y0u still being dead and shit.

The stores in Little Tokyo weren't usually his kind of haunt, but when you run out of interesting things to read, the wandering mind may draw itself towards unfamiliar mediums. As such, Galekh had found himself perusing the manga section of a particularly popular store, a grumble in his voice and frustration visible in his features.
Comics weren't... exactly his thing. He preferred to visualize the story on his own, give his imagination free reign to roam anywhere it may choose to do so. Not to have it laid out in an already canonical format, the only imagination required being the auditory sense. No, he wanted to immerse himself in a world his mind crafted for him to enjoy, using the story he was reading as a starting point. Though... everyone needs to branch out every now and then.
And so, here he was, out of his element and knee deep in titles he didn't understand. Though, it seemed he wasn't alone, for someone he recognized and had become vague acquaintances with had trotted into the aisle soon after him, a slight raise to his expression as he realized he may have found the assistance he needed.
"Hello Damara. Would you happen to have any, ah... recommendations for these sorts of books?"
Galekh spoke as she walked in, giving a soft wave in greeting.
"You always seem like you know more about this sort of medium than I do. I'm looking to change up my leisure reading material."
