Come meet me in Paris!
Éditions Bookmark, the publisher releasing Wild Sky in France, has done an amazing job on the French version of the book! They’re releasing a limited edition hardcover version with beautiful sprayed edges and gold foil.
This awesome release happens to coincide nicely with a pop-up bookstore they’re hosting in Paris over Valentine’s week, and they’ve invited me to come down to Paris to hang out at the store and participate in some fun bookish events!
So if you live in Paris or are planning a trip to Paris, I’ll be at the pop-up store February 14th and 15th to talk to you about Wild Sky (and other LGBT fiction!) and have a good time! I’ll be handing out Wild Sky bookmarks, and the hardcover contains both interior illustrations (by me and other artists!) and an overlay illustration.
This is my first “official” book event and I’m super excited to go, so if you’re in the area, please consider stopping by!

By Ken James: This was such a wild sky. I was tempted to accentuate all of the God rays to give it an ethereal look. I ultimately left it alone except darkened the sky and lightened the foreground to make it match what I saw IRL. I shot this three yrs ago with the drone.
I haven't shown it till now because it's another one that you have to view large to appreciate.

If anyone is looking for a queer dragon book similar to Fourth Wing, check out Wild Sky by Zaya Feli! Not only is there a military full of dragon riders, there is disability rep, and the most healthy queer relationship I could have asked for. They also take care of a baby dragon together while saving the world!! It’s one of my favorite books I’ve ever read
