This little kitten represents the first record of an albino jaguarundi [ Herpailurus yagouaroundi ] in the country of Colombia, discovered just hours outside of the Aburrá Valley metropolitan area. Given the unlikelihood of her survival in the wild, as albino animals are predisposed to certain health conditions and often struggle to camouflage in their native environments, she has been brought to a conservation park in the city of Medellín for care.
