As I sit here in the Pleasance Dome, munching on watercress, spinach and rocket straight out of the packet like some sort of demented rabbit; I feel like today has been the most strange, yet wonderful day I've experienced for a while... And it hasn't even ended yet. I've spent most of it alone, walking about town and impulsively booking shows. This morning I witnessed a man pretending to be Oscar Wilde in front of a typical matinee audience (by this I mean the mean age of the room was beyond contemplation) and myself #WildeWithoutTheBoy. Afterwards some women in a prison did a surprisingly touching recreation of their first A-Level show #KeyChange. #StewartLee surprised me next by still managing to be funny even when faced with a room of PEOPLE'S FRIENDS. Then I saw a lady fall in love with a robot who was posing as her late husband #Spillikin. I was then attacked in a room made up of one of Lewis Carroll's nightmares in #Phantasmagoria. Next up is Tom Barne's cabaret type thing which I am very much looking forward to #AFVS. BUT FIRST, DRINKS WITH BAKER MUKASA. (at Pleasance Dome)
