to say jinwoo was surprised to be chosen to be on a dating reality show was more than an understatement. in fact, he didn’t even submit his audition tape seriously, as he had lost a bet with his friends and begrudgingly did so. honestly, he didn’t put any effort into it either, so he was surprised that it was chosen. maybe these producers had chronically low standards or something. he shrugged, heading to the set where he’d be held for close to a month. part of him was nervous, if he was being honest, though part of him was intrigued. jinwoo never really sought out romantic relationships; his parents weren’t the best model of one, and everything he had been involved in had ended pretty poorly. besides, this reality show was more for viewer entertainment than anything else, right? he glanced around, wondering if anyone he knew locally would show up. and i guess he spoke to soon, because his eyes met those of a girl he had considered a sworn enemy for years.

nights like these were normal for the two -- sitting on facetime for hours, talking about each other’s days. it was how luna and carter connected and how they got to know so much about each other in such a short amount of time. and carter wouldn’t change it for the world. even if they were both preoccupied with something else, the company over the phone felt nice. carter was playing his video game, his fingers dancing all over the controller as he continuously cursed under his breath when he did something wrong in the game. the blonde boy sighed loudly and slammed his controller down on his couch when he died, again, shaking his head. he then noticed that luna had gotten quiet, so he quickly turned his head and grinned when he saw her already looking at him through the screen. “heeey...” carter chuckled, “are you staring at me?” he called her out, smirking because he knew he was right. he didn’t mind though, he found it cute. he found literally everything she did attractive.

dakota ran a hand through his hair as he hummed to himself, tapping the pen in his hand on his desk as he stared at his computer screen. to nobody’s surprise, dakota was at his usual spot; his desk, big headphones over his ears. he was analyzing another song, working on perfecting a track for an artist. he smiled to himself when he got a text from naomi, seeing that she was stopping by to pay him a visit. he felt bad sometimes, he wasn’t around as much as he’d like to be, at least not during normal hours. but he was trying his best, he really was. and he was grateful for his girlfriend, especially for her patience with his hectic schedule. he looked up as he heard a knock on his door, opening it to see her. “hi”, he pecked her lips, “i missed you”.
