A baby elephant called #Jumbo (but has been nicknamed Dumbo) has died at #Phuket #Zoo in #Thailand. This footage clearly shows how tragic Jumbo’s life was - he was separated from its mother, sick and in dire need of veterinary care. It’s shocking that Jumbo was actually three years old, yet he looked malnourished and much smaller. This sad case only goes to show that #elephants cannot live a happy and natural life in captivity, performing all day and every day for tourists.
