Woooow I must really suck if I haven’t posted anything since the holidays. Honestly the last six months have kinda fucked my life up and I was just starting to get my shit back together when this whole unfortunate thing with the pandemic came around. So, I’m super super super sorry for basically just disappearing and if you don’t want to continue our threads I’ll totally understand. But I’ll try to get replies out tomorrow or the next day. Don’t feel obligated to respond. 💕

Damon was ready for his morning coffee, it was actually over due. He walked into the wonderfully earthy smell of roasted coffee beans, a smile formed on his face. It was a pretty normal coffee shop, baristas were young adults just trying to make a living. He waited in line as his dark eyes scanned the menu, there was no reason for him to be looking for anything new. Damon always ordered the same thing every time. He smiled kindly at the woman who took his order. “Do you think you could make it a little stronger? It’s going to be a long day.”

Spin the Bottle

Dexter had always enjoyed throwing parties after playing a concert, no matter the size of the crowd. Something about it made him feel special, almost like he was a little bit closer to being famous. All famous people throw parties after concerts. Most of the people here had come to see him play, and to party with him after. 

He was sitting down in one of the large singular chairs, relaxed, when someone had asked him to play spin the bottle with them. Sitting up, he shrugged thinking that maybe it could be some fun. Why not? But when it was his turn to spin the bottle, his stomach was full of butterflies, knowing that Ann-Elaine was across the circle from him. Reaching out, he touched the cool glass bottle, spinning it as he anxiously waited to find out who he had to kiss.

Chase opened his eyes as Hunter spoke, his breathing still a bit heavy as he gave her a lazy smile. “Well, I mean, we gotta make up for lost time.” He said, his voice still thick with the same desire the hung in the air. “I mean, that’s a lot of sex that we miss out on.” He smirked.

The Joys of Journalism

“Good morning, everyone,” Joanna smiled, walking up to her podium. This was the first day her third semester teaching at this university, and she was happy to see that she was still able to teach such small classes at a large school.

“This is Intro to Journalism, so if you’re in the wrong class, go ahead and make your way out so that you can get to the right room.” The professor waited for the two or three students to gather their things and exit the room. “Alright, then. Welcome, y’all,” she smiled. “I’m Joanna Della Torre, but you can call me Professor Della Torre, Dr. Della Torre, or just Joanna. Whatever makes you happy,” she shrugged.

Eli laid on his back breathing heavily with his eyes closed, hand brushing against Lydia’s. He turned his head and cracked his eyes to look at the way her coppery hair spilled over the white bedding, not a single mark or freckle on her silky skin. Eli let his fingers tangle in hers and brought her hand up to press a kiss against her knuckles. “We should get ready to go. Mom and Katie are expecting us soon,” he mumbled softly, his brown eyes fixed to her face drinking in the moment like he was trying to commit it all to memory.

This was a GOOD day. He’d gotten sleep last night. ACTUAL sleep. So maybe Benji was in a BIT of a good mood. Good enough to not jump at the small noises he (thought) he kept hearing. Good enough that he actually let out a laugh.
