You know, to think that the egos had lives before becoming what we know them to be now. Damien was a prominent figure in his town and now he's Dark and he's feared and probably stuck with his old friend's (Mark's) wife. And the poor Colonel was slowly being driven insane before he became the Wil lethal turned into everyone's problematic favorite who still retains some bad habits. You know, sleeping with everyone's wife and "accidentally" killing people.
It's the difference between a static and a dynamic character. We've seen "Us" try to help people before "we", Celina, and Damien so became Dark. We saw Colonel break down and start to think that killing people isn't permanent. They'll come back just like We did.
It was brilliantly done, is what I'm trying to say. Absolutely brilliant in every single way that I can think of. The soundtrack, the little hints, the effects, how everything pulled together at the end. It's beautiful.
I'm not a theorist, but I have a lot of thoughts about the theories other people have and I have fun just reading them. The art that came out of it was amazing. Just everything.
Anyways— love the community, love Mark and the team and I love that they're so dedicated as to give us something this big.
