Brothers Grimm
Brothers
Only 13 months apart the brothers have been close ever since they were young. Their mother passed away in childbirth leaving the boys and their scholar father alone. The man was an accomplished professor at a nearby university who valued knowledge and learning above all else. While he was strict about their schooling he was very fair when it came to their pursuits.
Both boys were born with abilities. Their father was not gifted but their mother was giving them a feeling close to home about how abilities worked. They have been in pursuit of understanding abilities and their nature ever since they were young. The boys left Europe and have come to Japan in search of several other researchers who they had heard about. One of them being Shibusawa.
Jacob Grimm
Older of the two brothers by one year. Jacob is driven and determined to work on his research. He’s much more serious than his younger brother to the point that things often fly by him without him realizing it. Jacob is very susceptible to pranks and rarely understands cheeky speak or jokes.
Ability: Rumpelstilzchen -
Jacob is able to spin his hair into certain metals and metal objects. Short bangs can become things like coins or nails. Longer ones can become small handheld items, small firearms, grenades, etc. It’s the long strands that he keeps tied up in a ponytail that he can spin into more complex items.
Wilhelm Grimm
The younger of the two Wilhelm, or Wil as he likes better to be called, is much more rambunctious than his brother. While still highly interested in the history and nature of abilities he takes their research much less seriously. Part of it stems from his completely forgetful nature, relying heavily on his ability to remember things.
Ability: Schneewittchen
Wilhelm’s ability is linked to reflective objects. Whether it is a mirror or just a highly reflective surface either can work. Within the surface appears or can appear a white haired girl that Wil calls Snow. Snow is able to answer simple questions with veiled omnipotence. She, however, has a personality of her own and tends to spend much of her time berating and annoying Wil whenever he comes across an object she can appear in.
