allowing myself to get into making a 'dollhouse' horse stable miniature and also buying my first set of sylvanian creatures ever has like unlocked something in me and it is beautiful and fragile and tender and kind of scary

on the other hand i've gone absolutely ballistic pouring my entire heart and soul into a 1/24 scale stable for my Tuoy Horsies (therapist approved idea) and i've been doing lots and lots of crafts customizing it and finding little scale items which is very fun. there is still joy in this world

honestly the state of the world has turned me into such an insane angry person that i google extensively looking for stories/ideally footage of like anti-abortion protesters, right wingers, etc getting 1) beat on or 2) dying in really horrible ways bc there just is no justice. my earnest political stance is that we need to make raw milk legal for adults and illegal for minors so that population can start eliminating and disabling themselves more quickly. like at this point anything that removes a bigot from the world or keeps them from voting is my friend. as a diabetic i see someone crying and boo hooing about their feet rotting off because they voted to cut off their own insulin supply and i'm like i hope you go blind first !

frankly i don't give a shit if white male autistic people think it's "too hard" or "ableist" to be asked to mask natural tendencies that occupy the venn diagram overlap with predators so that they are not scary to women and people of color. autistic people of color mask every day so that they don't get killed. autistic women mask so that they can hold down employment. and frankly when i hear the moaning and complaining about the natural consequences of choosing not to adjust your behaviors to make other people feel comfortable like neurotypicals also do as a matter of courtesy, it hits the same whiny male note as "not all men so women should just trust me. not all white people so strangers i meet who are people of color should just trust me." like i'm sorry, i don't care if you're "one of the good ones", if a woman or person of color chooses to disregard the wrong red flag and "give the person a chance", they can end up dead. nobody owes you shit and they certainly don't owe you a risk on their safety.

this of course doesn't even get into the larger quagmire of some masking just being basic human consideration like not talking over people or talking at people instead of listening to what they have to say. and before people start screaming about ableism im ND lmao
