I made a Batish!GID au.
will is a normal sized peep that has that 2 stomach thing, and louis is still stuck with the lights-make-him-shrink thing because of Bad Science. Stories are a bit different from GID from there tho - like, Louis would prolly figure out pretty quickly where he is, cause the color scheme of the first stomach matches the stripes on Will's tongueand therefor prolly hopefully wouldn't give will an ulcer and have that particular problem between them
Will would get something sorta similar to an adrenaline rush while Louis is inside. A temporary small stat boost, so to speak. Smidge bit faster, smidge bit stronger, little bit more endurance, ect. Not very noticeable unless you're doing tests and measuring it out, or pushing your limits. This would louis and will would probably get to the "it's okay and we actually like it" stage sooner too but but there's a but there. A while after we get that happy, louis loves it will loves it and they nom sometimes just for fun, and it's comfortable and chill. then after that, there'd be research on the soul thing from retten that's discovered. And then they get to deal with the concept that will is literally stealing some of louis' lifespan and freaking the fuck out over how much is gone already and if there's a way to give it back or something. Just throw a giant wrench into happiness there.
so like no way to give it back or recover the lost lifespan stuff but it's also not nearly as much as they are fearing - only like, a couple months (assuming he dies naturally - it doesn't effect anything at all if he dies in an accident.) But of course, there's no way for them to find this out. So they're still freaking out about how it might be years or even a decade or something. There's the possibility that they discover Louis is acid proof after this. And then potentially, after a whole load of angst and nightmares and working things out, come up with the idea that if will swallows Louis, then Louis can crawl from the first stomach to the second stomach and chill there instead. Since the first stomach is the only spot that does the life stealing stuff.
They'd both have to adjust to that. The second stomach is all one color, and looks a little darker than a human stomach. So none of the bright colors or anything from the first stomach. Also Will would have to get used to feeling Louis a bit lower down than he's used to.
