Working on my next prompt, and I wrote this:

“Ow,” Tony complains, in the petulant tone Clint has come to learn means anything between ‘I broke a nail’ and ‘I have internal injuries, see you after surgery’.

I feel like I’ve never written anything more accurate to Tony’s character. Also this totally sounds like I’m tooting my own horn I SWEAR I’M NOT OMGezashutupuneedsleep.
