SLOWING. Breath in. Breath out. In and out, Graham slowed his breathing until it was almost imperceptible. He refrained from simply holding his breath, because then his brain would start to scream for air and he’d hear his heartbeat in his ear. No, just enough to hear the sound of the other man’s breathing from just out of sight from where he sat in his cell. His ever present onlooker. Graham presumed he was quite the topic of interest around here but Brown seemed ever the avid fan above the rest. “I can hear you breathing out there,” he said quietly. Was it simply him being ominous or an invitation? An ominous invitation?

She’s got her usual two blankets tucked under her arm as she walks down the hall to the West Wing. It’s a weekend and there’s no sign of any party, so that means it’s movie night for her and Will. Movie night could theoretically be any night, but she likes the weekend plans. Then not everything is about sitting around and studying for Monday, there’s something else to do around the Castle. There’s an extra package of popcorn in between the blankets, a small contribution to the usual pile of food that Will amasses. He keeps forgetting about extra popcorn, always popping one bag and eating it half way through the movie, so she just decided to bring the spare. It’s the least she can do since he keeps insisting that they watch all the movies in his room. And because she already knows that he’s going to follow the same routine.
They’re supposed to watch something light-hearted tonight, switching genres to something that’s the opposite of stressful. She wonders if Will’s got a selective of romantic comedies that she doesn’t know about, or if they’re going to end up watching something like the Pineapple Express. She’s not sure which she would prefer, so she’ll just have to see what he’s chosen.
It’s fifty-fifty that the door of his room is unlocked in preparation for her, but she always knocks anyways. Call it polite, but she doesn’t want to walk in unannounced. “Hellooo, is anyone home?”

What does an electronics heiress do in her spare time? Gia’d known a few heiresses in her time and they all seemed to follow the same pattern of school, shopping, and places that sounded smart to go to, but were really just for show. Places like an art museum. Walking among the Rembrandts and Monets while chatting about which dress to wear to the weekends events gave an air of sophistication that the wealthy always desired. Most of the homes she’d been to had their own private collections as well, but what fun was it staying home to admire the art one had already acquired. She personally enjoyed the collection of the estate she lived on, all the most expensive paintings were hung in a single room that could only be opened if the owner let you in. Seeing a Vermeer from behind a glass barricade didn’t really compare after she got to see one up close.
But she wasn’t really in this gallery to admire the work; she had tasks to accomplish, a persona to keep up, and - was that Will? He was the last person she expected to see at an art gallery; it took a moment before she realized that it had to be for his identity. Now that was something she would be interested to see. She walked over to the sculpture he was admiring, although she didn’t really know what it was. No heiress would have admitted to that lack of knowledge, so she just said the same line that she’d heard at a million museums before ( except she’d never tried it with a British accent ) “It’s beautiful isn’t it?”

“Greetings.” His stoic expression shifted when Lucian gave the other a forced smile. He knows what’s going to happen next. “I have to say, you don’t look very challenging.”

“And here I’d thought I’d made my feelings for you blindingly obvious.” Will sighed and shifted his weight from side to side. “I’m in love with you, in case you haven’t noticed. Which you haven’t..”
