Frank said to Samira, "I didn't mean for this conversation to get so depressing."
Samira glances over at Frank, struggling to hold in her laugh.
His short apology isn't entirely off the mark - launching into a tough case he had today wasn't how Samira imagined spending her evening off. She is, perhaps poorly, trying to keep some separation between work and her measly personal life.
"I'm sorry," she says, falling fully into her laughter now. "It's just -," Samira gestures to the facemask colored like a panda slipping down his face. "It's a little hard to take you seriously with that." // @will3nd
