I’ve played #WilleneBarton (r w/ sax) on my show quite a bit. I stumbled upon this photo a while back & have waited to share it during #WomensHistoryMonth. Are you a woman who’s a music lover? Does this photo make your heart flutter as it does mine? It’s so rare for us to see women represented visually as instrumentalists in vintage #jazz. Yet we know they were out there tearing it up with all the chops!
