wille-suzuhara replied to your post: With a loud groan, a lumbering giant could be seen moving slowly on all fours. Moving as if it were a beast, the blood red eyes shot over to Simon. Making contact for a moment, a long howl was let out from the beast, the world seemingly trembling from it.
With another howl, the arms and legs it moved on leaped into action as the beast began running towards Simon. The monster moved through instinct, like an animal. As it came closer, the bright blue veins that ran along its shoulders became apparent.
There wasn't time to ask any more questions and this was something Simon knew--whether he liked it or not. Snapping out of his daze, he quickly sprang into action. He started by getting as faraway as possible from the incoming giant, sprinting. As it ran towards him, it had an increasingly terrifying appearance. Getting away on foot would be impossible... Simon held onto his drill tightly with his right hand, the only hope.
The core of it started to glow, all so familiar-like. He felt relieved for a moment. Simon exhaled slowly, his face then showing a firm expression. There was something in the sky approaching him at a high speed. But it was just what he expected to see, and he said it out loud.
His Gunman swooped down from above and he caught it on the ground. Simon hopped on, wasting no time in starting it up. Within seconds, the core drill was in with the Spiral Energy gauge set to its maximum. Simon took to the sky and increased the distance between them. The animal-like giant was getting closer every second, and it was so much bigger than what he was piloting.
He still didn't know what it really was---but regardless, was prepared to fight it if it came to that. Things weren't looking any more peaceful.
