Pygmalion, the artist who fell for his own art.
I visited the Rijksmuseum a couple weeks ago where they had a temporary exhibit about art relating to Ovid’s Metamorphoses, and there was a series of various paintings inspired by the Pygmalion myth. Of course, I have named my Frankenstein fanfic after the myth, so I was inspired to make my own art piece linking the two together once again! The sculpture is William, Victor’s creation and boytoy in said fic.
William on his first graverobbing escapade to find some arms for Victor’s operation! I was also really touched by the comments about Will’s adorableness in the final chapter so decided to doodle him wearing his deserved best boy award. 😊
Oh my god how far we have gotten... Chapter 20, the final chapter of Pygmalion, is out... it genuinely feels as if I only started this like a few weeks back
