WILLIAM LIPTON as Charlie Cooper The Runarounds 1.01 "Pilot"
The Runarounds 1.07. Hypocrites
just finished the runarounds and while i know every character had its "rough paths", why wyatt's plot felt like this sponge bob meme
can someone give my boy a hug? i think he needs a hug.
I don't understand why outerbank fans are hating on the runarounds, it's genuinely a good show, the acting is solid, they have insane chemistry, the soundtrack is good and the original music is good.
Also, they actually look like teenagers!!! It could just be that young people these days look young, but the cast pf outerbanks looked like they were in their early 20s which is insane.
Oh! And the writing is decent, sure there are a few corny parts, but I haven't seen a good show like this for a bit.
Also, I've seen the complaint from an outerbanks fan that the show is bad because there's only one character who has siblings and the rest are only child...ok? Not only is that stupid, but it's false as another character 'bender' has like two sibilings and probably more since there was a scene of her looking after a bunch of kids.
Bartender Girl
Charlie caught himself staring. He should’ve been tuning, but the truth was—he’d already written half a verse in his head just watching you slide a glass across the counter.
That night, he didn’t approach. The band loaded up, the crowd thinned, and you wiped down the bar without ever realizing you’d been the spark for something.
The next gig, two weeks later, he walked onstage different. He didn’t tell the guys what he had planned. Mid-set, instead of sliding into their usual cover, he started something new—something soft at first, building into something fierce.
His voice cut through the low hum of conversation:

“Bartender Girl”
(Original by Charlie Cooper)
Verse 1
I see you in the neon haze,
Glass in your hand, smile sharp as a blade,
Pouring out laughter like it’s something you own,
But I know you’re dreaming of somewhere unknown.
Chorus
Bartender girl, you’re more than this bar,
You shine like a spotlight, brighter than the stars.
Every chord I play, every word I choose,
It’s all for the girl with nothing left to lose.
Verse 2
You move like rhythm, like a song I can’t write,
Hands on the counter but your eyes take flight.
And I’d trade every stage, every crowd, every night,
Just to keep your smile in my spotlight.
Chorus
Bartender girl, you’re more than this bar,
You shine like a spotlight, brighter than the stars.
Every chord I play, every word I choose,
It’s all for the girl with nothing left to lose.
Bridge
Maybe you’ll hear me, maybe you won’t,
But I’ll keep singing even if you don’t.
‘Cause some songs are meant for just one soul,
And you’re the only one who makes me whole.
Final Chorus
Bartender girl, you’re more than this bar,
You shine like a spotlight, brighter than the stars.
Every chord I play, every word I choose,
It’s all for you… yeah, it’s all for you.
⸻
By the second chorus, people were swaying, but Charlie’s gaze never left the bar. And when he hit the last chord, the room erupted, though his heart was pounding for only one reaction—yours.
Your towel froze mid-swipe, eyes locked on him. A slow smile curled across your lips, the kind of smile that said you knew.
And in that instant, Charlie Cooper decided he’d keep writing until he ran out of songs, if it meant you’d keep listening.
