My roman empire is Rise of the pink ladies. I will absolutely NEVER ever forgive them for cancelling it after just one season. That show had interesting plot, amazing characters, AND INCREDIBLE SONGS- Absolutely no criticism, it was perfect from start to end it was so well made .

Grease is genuinely sad if you watch it in the order of Rise of the Pink Ladies -> Grease -> Grease 2 because literally you start with an ethnically and sexually diverse group of girls who start the Pink Ladies in order to have agency and power as individuals in the school, and you end with Michelle Pfeiffer getting kicked out of the all-white Pink Ladies when she dumps her T-Bird boyfriend because by the time of Grease 2, the Pink Ladies are apparently their property.

2 years of Rise of the Pink Ladies. I rewatch the season all the time and I still love these songs. I miss this show and wish it would have been picked up by another network. It deserved so much better.

Can we all collectively agree that there needs to be a database or something for show creators to get to release their planned plot lines/story canon for any and ALL cancelled shows.

Like a nice little website where people can read or see: blurbs, scripts, prompts, photos of costume designs, set pieces, world building etc

GIVE US WHAT YOU WANTED TO DO WITH THE SHOW. Share your hopes and dreams with us! We want it. I promise.

If we can't get the shows renewed or picked up by another studio or whatever then at least give us phone camera filmed scenes between willing actors. Give us the moments. Give us closure. Please.

I’m sorry but I will truly never get over Ekko who lost his mentor and all his friends at a young age, then spent the rest of his childhood building a beautiful and strong community that helped get shimmer addicts off the streets and give them a new life that thrived off of trust, respect, and loyalty while slowly watching the girl he loves lose herself to her psyche and become an unhinged suicidal terrorist who he is unable to save despite repeated attempts at it. And THEN gets booted into an alternate reality where he learns he could have had EVERYTHING, the beautiful and thriving community, the education, his family, and the girl he loves and he heartbreakingly leaves it all behind because he knows he doesn’t belong there and he has to go back to save his people which he DOES multiple times at great risk despite knowing what overextending his z-drive could do only to end up completely alone in the end. The most selfless character in the entire series. That’s my boy savior.

I confess for years thought Dean was the main focus. Then season 10 happened and I couldn't figure out why it was so bad until you explained because Dean was treated as the main focus. Suddenly it makes so much sense because it's the same reason why most spinoffs fail even though it stars a popular character from an original show.

Our favorite characters are often not the protagonist but the “scene stealers”, the popular characters you speak of. Audiences love them because they add spice to a show. Usually, they are extremely cool or extremely hysterical.

The problem occurs when producers try to capitalize on the character’s popularity, like creating a spin-off.   Like spices, which can not take the place of the main course, scene stealers often fail as leads because their “special-ness” evaporates when they have to carry the show.  See the 4th Pirates of the Caribbean movie and the Friends spinoff, Joey, and the X Files spinoff, Lone Gunman.  The Rebel Wilson-led tv show Super Fun Night failed in part because fans expected to see whacky Rebel Wilson and instead was given a character who was a normal, good-natured woman that is friendly in a socially awkward way.

In Supernatural, Dean is the spice but he's not the main course.

I've been trying to find videos lately that go on a deep dive on Sam Winchester as a character, so tell me why it's so hard to find on YouTube. Like, I'll find more videos about unrelated stuff that usually revolve around Dean or Castiel and it's so far from who and what I'm trying to look for. Is Sam really that underrated?

I'm finding supernatural crack videos or destiel discussion videos when I need Sam Winchester. The only good video I was able to find was this one and thank god I did because it was really good. I just need more 🙏.

Lucas Sinclair appreciation post because Pookie is CRIMINALLY. Underrated. I hate the way black characters are ignored and disregarded is some fandoms and he is genuinely such a cool character.

It actually makes me so angry how much Lucas/Caleb is ignored in the fandom. He is so much more than just Max’s goofy boyfriend he is his own character and we need to talk about him more often. I love him sm.
