About time I posted about this one. Introducing 'Fraoch', a traditional Heather ale from Scottish brewers Williams Brothers. One of the oldest styles of beer and certainly one of the most refreshing I can recall. Brewed from an old Gaelic recipe that uses malted barley, sweet gale and flowering heather; this is a lighter session ale with a distinctive flavour. My initial comparisons were to ginger beer, but I'd say that any comparisons wouldn't do this beer justice. A must for summer drinking, wherever you can grab it!
