In oct 1997 I turned 23 and to celebrate we had a party with local bands #unsane & #sweetdiesel (and maybe #fuckemos ?) at our warehouse near the navy yard. After the show we drove the sweet diesel tour van over to the waterfront, had a bonfire and I did doughnuts out on the pier. This is pier today. #williamsburgbeach some dude decided to skinny dip (in oct!!) got pneumonia and was hospitalized. The van later blew up in Ohio on Brooklyn machine works first visit to interbike. But that's another story.
