Williamsburgh Savings Bank Tower

Here’s a picture I made of the Williamsburgh Bank Tower in the early 1980s. The view was made from Grand Army Plaza, which is located at the north end of Prospect Park. We are looking up Flatbush Avenue toward the architectural icon (and Manhattan beyond).

There is an observation platform near the top of the building and the clock faces are seventeen feet in diameter. The former bank has been converted to high end condominiums.
