Lucinda nodded at one of the younger students as they asked her to tutor them when she saw a man across the courtyard evidently practicing transfiguration. She watched him for a moment before excusing herself and approaching him. “Pardon me, sir.” She said as she walked over, “But you might have a bit more success if you do it like this.” She took his hand and gently moved it for him so that the movements were more correct. “You have to be very exact ot you won’t get your desired results.”

The last thing Mateo needed right now was to see one of the Ollivanders walking towards him. Even if Will wasn’t to blame for how miserable the artist felt, he immediately fixed a glare on him. “No.” He held up a hand before he could say anything to him. “Whatever it is, I don’t care. I’m done with all of your stupid family. Sam wins, happy?” He needed to try to forget Sam, that was clear enough, and having constant reminders thrown into his face was not helping.

Her crew were always her priority, although the captain was often a selfish woman. But she did love her crew, so she’d spend time with them as often as possible. Disheveled from that time, she came back to the Gryffindor common room late, after most had gone to sleep. Spying a young man sitting alone, Hei took a seat next to him, leaning forward to warm her hands by the fire. “Couldn’t sleep?” She tilted her head to smile at him. “I can’t either. Too many thoughts in my head.” Her earlier distraction had worked, but that had been a couple hours ago.
