I really don't think it's that obvious that I miss them that much lol, it's been 10 years since they last saw each other (I think) but Caroline still thought about her, she went to London to look for her, being the only person who remembers her, Charlotte O'Hagan.

Without hesitation, she tells them that Charlotte isn't behind the fog, she asks strangers to do her a favor and get Willow out of her house with anger that is rarely seen in her.

10 years and she tells her to her face that she misses her, she challenges her to compete against her because she knows that although Charlotte has changed, she is still the same girl with ambition over her passion. She knows that what Charlotte needs is someone who sees her as an equal and Caroline never thought less of her.

They fight because Willow is afraid, afraid that Caroline only feel sorry for her or lie about what she says. Willow swears she is broken and attacks Caroline to make sure no one hurts her anymore. She is the witch, a hag, hated by society. Who could want someone broken?

Caroline comes back because Flutterpage challenged her on Willow's behalf (even if it was behind Willow's back, but this girl is really avoiding her mothers divorce, lol) She's happy because it means the Charlotte she knows is still there, and for Willow, it was just what she needed because she was about to give up on going to the qualifiers.

They meet again at the "qualifiers." Willow still thinks Caroline has some harmful intentions behind it, but Caroline keeps repeating the same old thing because she's not lying. She admires Charlotte, she was her muse for so many years (gay ass)

Caroline simply needed a friendly moment with Charlotte and never left her alone again. She was the one who called Willow to let her know about the foundation's decision not to let her compete because of her disability, promising that she'll do whatever it takes to change that, even if Willow attacked her and doubted her true intentions.

She was the one who told her the good news that the foundation would let her compete again, but Willow was afraid of Caroline's intentions, on the contrary, she attacks her again and repeats the same old thing, what she's desperate to believe: that Caroline hates her, considers her inferior because that's how she sees herself. Who could ever love someone broken? But Caroline simply repeats the same old thing, never hesitating for a moment to tell Charlotte that in her eyes she's her equal, her competitor, her black swan.

It all ends with them going on a trip on Caroline's family's boat. Caroline simply does everything she can to be by her side.

That whole interview where they tell us they're training together, that Caroline is watching over Charlotte during training and helping her understand the new rules. Caroline is going to retire, but she still says in the interview, "Seeing the sun rise again would bring her more joy than winning the championship."

Not to mention how she refuses to call her Willow, she doesn't accept that name she's given herself because, to her, she's Charlotte, her muse
