Messier than I'd like lol but I wanted to get something down for the first day at least agdhs... Yeehawgust Day 1: Stars of the Midnight Range!

Primrose used to live with her family in a ranch house, built long before the desert began it's outward advance. Most of her family packed up and moved away when the air became too dry and more and more scraggly shrubs grew in the grazing fields, but Prim couldn't bear to leave the only home she had ever known. She chose to stay, and lived with just a small flock of sheep and the occasional traveler for company for years. Nights under the shadow of the mountains were still always beautiful, if a little lonesome.

These days, even if it's not every evening, Primrose shares her sky with a new family. Nights are still beautiful, but livelier now. And when the revelry dies she and her flock sleep soundly, even with the odd wolf-song rising from the edges of her fields.
