Willow had been feeling rather lonely these past few months. Too many flights, barely one after the other, and hardly any time for herself, let alone for the people she loved. She felt detached, and that wasn’t something she was used to.

“505, like the song from Arctic Monkeys. Can you believe it?” was the last message she had sent Elio. God, how she missed him. Though he was still taking a while to reply, she added a simple, “Feels like there are 50 floors. And I wouldn’t doubt it if it were true. The tower is huge.”

The truth was, she missed him so much that she wanted to share even the smallest details with him — as if he were there with her. So when his message finally came through, just after she’d taken her well-deserved shower, she couldn’t help but smile. Hope he’s online for at least the next hour… even though I know the time difference is a big one, she thought.

New Cage Liner

Sewing the new cage liner today and putting on finishing touches. Kalsie’s and Cora’s have been completed, but Willow’s is still in the works. The sewing machine is taking up so much space on the kitchen table. Can’t wait to move it out of the way. :)
