What I’m asking for right now is for people to join yahoo groups (i.e. fill out captchas).

There are also more technical tasks that people can volunteer for.

In terms of archivist practice, I think we’ll have plenty to do later too. Right now, we’re grabbing data while we still can, but we’ll need to sort out what we have later, and make sure it’s labeled in a way that makes it useful.

Question: a doctor-type-person at an urgent care recently told me carpal tunnel doesn't "come and go" in any degree or fashion, it's always 100% present like a toothache; So my ongoing, not-always-100%-present-but-easily-aggravated wrist pain can't possibly be carpal tunnel. On a scale from "totally correct" to "fairy tales from Planet Bullshit" how accurate is this information in your experience?

carpal tunnel syndrome may not come and go, but the symptoms certainly can, and do. my symptoms always flared up when my arthritis was bad. the inflammation during flareups would narrow even further the tunnel space, making the nerves extra extra pissed off.

your doctor is very mistaken and i would ask them to refer the issue to a specialist because they’re more likely to know wtf they’re talking about. even if it’s not carpal, it’s still something and needs treating.

I sincerely don't remember that happening in the book, but then i've also only ever read the 'author prefered text' version so that may be why
