Willow harvesting. We went down to the lovely Willow Holt in Farndon, Newark where the Wildlife Trust have set up the most incredible working willow holts. Two hours later we had harvested 270 beautiful yellow willow stems, battled the undergrowth and dragged our bundles back through the reserve. It was such a satisfying morning and an unexpected work out!
