Light fixture at the Wiltern Theater in Los Angeles, California from my 2014 visit. If you embiggen the photo you can see the insane etching on all the glass. Originally a movie house, the Wiltern has been a concert venue ever since it's refurb in the early 1980's. How I remember that [besides being old] is that my first concert there was to see Alison Moyet of Yaz (or Yazoo if you're across the pond) touring for her first album 'Alf'.

Fun Fact: The Wiltern is called the Wiltern because it is on the corner of WILshire and westTERN.

Taken during a lovely Wilshire Blvd tour by @la_architecture_and_art_tours & expertly curated by @in_the_neon_city #elreytheatre . FUN FACT: I attempted to give El Rey some money for the upcoming TR/ST show , but it sold out in 2 seconds, mostly to scalpers.
