#TroopBeverlyHills had its 30th anniversary March 24th. I watched this movie countless times when I was younger and still watch it on a regular basis. This movie is a classic. Period. The film introduced multiple people that went on to become well known for other roles or projects including #JennyLewis (now a musician), #KellieMartin (love her so much from #LifeGoesOn #Cristy and #ER), #ToriSpelling (90210 of course), and #CarlaGugino (too many roles to count but love her in #KarenSisco). 100% class 100% sass, one of my biggest inspirations growing up, Shelly Long! She played sassy intelligent women throughout her career. I loved her on Cheers!, but even more so as the Troop Beverly Hills leader, Phyllis Nefler! Shelly knew how to bring to life every character she played and is also a lovely person in real life. How could any girl of this era not love her? She made me proud to be an underdog Girl Scout troop!
