Let me tell you what I love about Brisbane ↠ It’s constant sunshine 95% of the year. Beautiful Queensland beaches are accessible 1 - 2 hrs drive away. You can check out city views from Mt Cootha, Kangaroo Point or atop the Story Bridge, catch a river ferry and sit under beautiful jacaranda trees in Spring. Go snorkeling off Moreton Island, cuddle a koala at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary and drink a schooner at a riverside establishment 🍻 ↠ The hospitality and entertainment options are expanding and it’s the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef and the Whitsundays. None of these things may mean much to you until you visit yourself so I urge you not to pass over my home city if you can manage. Brisbane is a capital city to rival Sydney and Melbourne and we’re proud to show it off. So if you find yourself here, come say hi and the first round is on me! Hi! We’re Jasmine & Bevan 👋🏽 What better way to start a new year than with some getting-to-know-you facts! Many of you have been with us for a while but we thought we’d share a few more random things about us 😆 1. Bevan loves to cook and prepares all the meals for us. Jasmine prefers cleaning and will wash the dishes over standing at the stove 🍽 2. Jasmine is allergic to peanuts (not anaphylactic!) and Bevan doesn’t like eating peas and corn 🌽 3. Bevan has a blue-ish scar on his nose from when he crashed his bicycle riding home drunk in the rain over some train tracks. Always wear a helmet, kids! 🚲 4. Jasmine studied French at high school and uni 5. Bevan has worked and lived in Canada, Berlin & London. Jasmine has worked and lived in London & Amsterdam. We’re both Aussies who met in London 🇦🇺🇬🇧 how original 🤪 6. Jasmine is a keen netballer while Bevan likes to play golf and tries to keep improving his handicap ⛳️ 7. Bevan can’t float on his back in the water 8. Jasmine has never broken a bone 9. Bevan works in Marketing while Jasmine is a Chartered Accountant 💵 10.
