Congratulations Dean and Cas on their beautiful long awaited wedding! May your love last til the end of time.
This. This is how it should've gone. I've always thought that if one of them has to die at the end.... that it should be like this, together and in the middle of a fight... goin down swingin. They all deserved better.
Thought!
I'm watching season 4 episode 19 "Jump the Shark" where Sam & Dean meet "Adam". It makes me sad because not only did j*hn give Adam a taste of what they never had, it pulls on Dean's heart. He is jealous & he knows he has every right but still feels bad for it.
Not only that but the boys also missed out on having a younger brother. (Regardless of if they were in the life or not.)
This makes me feel deeply for all three of them! Sammy was never able to truly be a big brother for Adam, & Dean never got to see his baby brother in the big brother role!
I also think Dean sees Adam as his "second chance" to save a brother from the life. The character arcs of Dean starting out as "daddy's little soldier" & Sam being "the rebel" & then slowly reversing as Dean opens his eyes to how shitty j*hn's parenting was.
And for a short while Sammy is a gung ho about "listening to dad" etc etc until they both come to the conclusion "it sucked, j*hn sucked, he did his best all things considered even if it was shitty, and we just gotta march on". Which honestly is probably the healthiest thing they've done.
"its your professionalism that i respect" alastair to dean during torture scene & dean makes a "you disgust me" "don't bring that up" "you forced it on me" face
made me think alastair coerced dean into some kind of twisted "relationship", raped & sexually abused dean in the pit....
think about it. hell is his worst nightmares. everything about him that he hides, represses, fears, etc. if we're looking at Dean through a queer lense, this scene/line could be taken as him rejecting his own sexuality so alastair uses it against him...
i just actually scrolled a bit on here and holy hell i've missed a lot
Is your name Nicole too?! Lol! We both got the same score on the name game!
Hahaha yeah!!
Thanks for following me, hon! :)
No problem! I really love your one shots btw, you are an amazing writer! xx
