This trend of studio ghibli films being bastardized by ai for some cute looking aesthetic photos is pretty sad to me not disgusting just dissapointing. Its so hard to be able to see so clearly where humanity is headed is really sad sometimes and right now atleast according to me It's headed to place where artistic pursuit and human creativity is going to be extinguished to be replaced by laziness and ai generated slop. I must truly applaud the pr of the ai firms because they have successfully lowered human expectations where a picture that takes 5 minutes to generate is able to garner the same if not more praise and attention over something that took Miyazaki literal fucking years. Human ignorance is at its peak right now and it's going to be so funny to see when it all comes crashing down around them. Using ai that uses portable water that's already in short supply thanks to gross over population and Rich people hoarding our resources in a moment where the climate crisis is probably going to annihilate all living vegetation in less than 100 years is so truly fucking funny and ironic. Ai is trash people who use it are lazy as fuck if you're not using ai for curing cancer than don't use ai at all. I didn't want ai to take away my job which it potentially will in the next 4 years let's be honest producing and pushing through on something that has so many catastrophic effects for our species is just beyond my comprehension. How is anyone allowing this??! How are we just going about all our days while the entire structure of society erodes around us. While the Rich are richer than they ever have been . When capitalism in it's final beastly form pushes out humans from the system all together. And coming back to the original point of the post most of the people using ai to make "cute studio ghibli art" haven't even seen one fucking Miyazaki film. AND IF ONE MORE PERSON SAYS THIS MAKES ART "ACCESSIBLE" LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING A PENCIL HAS ALWAYS BEEN ACCESSIBLE, A PIECE OF PAPER HAS ALWAYS BEEN ACCESSIBILE LEARNING A NEW SKILL SHOULD NOT BE A HASTLE OR ANOTHER CHORE TO ADD TO YOUR DAY. IT SHOULD BE FUN YOU SHOULD ENDEAVOUR TO CREATE THINGS WITH YOUR HANDS AND YOUR MIND BECAUSE THATS WHAT HUMANS WERE MEANT TO DO. If you don't get this tell me are you even human at all .
