ANNOUNCEMENT!
I just got on to do an activity check and noticed that almost everyone has either reached or exceeded the activity limit. Rather than post a huge unfollow, the admins have talked, and we have decided that closing the group would be the best thing to do. There isn’t really much to say, so we’ll just leave this short and sweet. Thank you all for your time, and we wish you luck with everything else.
ACTIVITY!
We hate making these posts, especially so close to the beginning of the game, but we feel it’s necessary. There are only two members excused from the activity limit, due to being on hiatus and having messaged the main, so we should be seeing daily activity from everybody else. The dash seems to consist of the same 4-5 characters lately, and we’d love to be able to interact with everyone, however, we can’t do that if nobody else is online.
If people do not want to be here, you will be missed, but we will completely understand. We don’t want anybody to feel pressured into staying here, and if you’re not feeling the game or your role, you’re entirely welcome to leave or pick up a different role. We’re going to be needing to see activity picking up, though, because the game is going to die if not, which we absolutely do not want.
Please be sure to message us if you’d like to leave, as it’s always disheartening to see somebody just deactivating their account with no warning. We promise we won’t be angry. If activity does not pick up following this post, however, we are going to have to consider further action.
PROMPT TIME!
Now that a few cast members and characters have met each other, we’re thinking it’s a good time to get everyone interacting. Santana has been trying to arrange a way for everybody to meet tonight in the school after hours, so we’re going to use that and run with it. We’re going to say that they picked 7PM to meet, and everyone was there. We apologize for essentially godmodding your characters here, but we’re sure you’ll agree that it’s more fun if the whole group can interact together, rather than it continuing to be split by cast and character, so please humor us. We won’t godmod you again.
The whole thing lasted about an hour, and how your character reacted to meeting their counterpart is entirely up to you. The show was explained briefly to the characters, but you’re free to go more in depth by asking questions from this point forward. Everybody agreed to make Tumblr accounts to be able to keep in touch with each other and keep each other updated on what’s going on, which the cast can use on their phones, using the hotel’s wifi. (You can still use gifs, since they’re only supposed to be used to portray expressions, anyway.) They also exchanged numbers/screen names, so again using the hotel’s wifi on the cast’s part, they can all iMessage or communicate via things like WhatsApp/Kik, etc.
This means everyone can now interact, so all starters from this point onwards should be getting replies from everyone. As always, if you have any questions, don’t be afraid to shoot them our way!
REAL TIME!
So far, providing this fits everybody’s face to faces, we’re going to assume all of the cast face to face interactions took place on SUNDAY, when the whole event took place. Since the characters were in school the following day, the cast could not have been in the choir room without being seen. Due to this, we’re going to say that there is a hotel right by the school, and the conscious cast members helped move the unconscious members over to the hotel (we’ll disregard the fact that they were smuggling what must’ve looked like dead bodies into hotel rooms with them, shh) on Sunday evening, and this is where they have all been living since.
With them essentially being in another world, they have no cell reception, and their credit and debit cards do not work. There is no record of their existence in this world. However, some, if not all, of the cast may have cash on them, so they’re able to pay for the rooms and small necessities, but remember, without working bank accounts, their cash will not last them very long, and will by no means be in endless supply. Although they have no service, their phones will still turn on, and they will be able to connect to the hotel’s wifi, though they won’t be able to send out emails to the “real world” or anything of the like, or see any social media updates from their world, including their own. If they Google themselves or their show, no results will be found. They do not exist here.
It’s important that the cast and characters somehow begin meeting now. Initially, these meetings should be face to face, so either in f2f formats, or via means of thread paras or chatzys. Once everybody is aware of each other’s existence, the characters will be able to help the cast out with places to stay, though they will not be able to involve their parents, of course. If possible, they can help them out with things such as computer access, so people can begin interacting via Tumblr, etc. Any questions thus far, just shoot us a message!
PROMPT
This is it. The cast are all pumped, having all boarded their tour bus earlier today, and are now on their way to their first concert venue, in San Francisco! While some are skeptical, still in disbelief that they’re loved by so many, others are feeling far more positive, and are ready to grab their mics and get out on that stage. Ryan Murphy, in the bus up ahead, has just cracked open a bottle of champagne, and is celebrating the upcoming tour with his fellow creators and colleagues. His bus has just driven through a long tunnel, and as he sits at the back, looking out the rear window for the bus filled with his precious cast members to emerge, too, he’s a little surprised to see a small car in it’s place. He thinks nothing of it, assuming the car overtook the bus, and goes back to drinking with his buddies.
Little does Ryan know, though, the bus won’t be showing. At first, the cast don’t know anything’s wrong. They’re aware that they’re going through a tunnel, since the outside world just became dark, but when the lights inside the bus dim, they’re all a little caught off guard. Some of the guys, and of course Heather, make ghost noises, trying to make everybody jump, and people are laughing and rolling their eyes. When the lights don’t come back on, though, they’re all a little concerned. No more so than when the feeling of the bus speeding up hits, though, and seems fast enough to make them cling to their seats. People are starting to worry, unsure of what’s going on, and a couple unsure screams can be heard, before everything goes black. There’s silence in the bus, and no crashing outside. They haven’t crashed, but everybody is somehow unconscious, with no idea what’s going on around them.
Nobody knows exactly how long they’re out, but when they slowly begin to wake one by one, they find that they’re not on the bus anymore. To begin with, they assume they’re on set, and don’t know how they got there. This place looks like the choir room set, the one back at Paramount, but it soon becomes clear that it’s not a set at all. Somehow, they piece together that they’re in the actual choir room, in WMHS. This has to be some kind of late Halloween prank, there’s no way they can be here. They’re supposed to be doing their first soundcheck tonight, this can’t be happening. They try their phones, trying to call for help, but none of them have service. What do they do now?
FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS
Now that everybody is in Lima, full group interactions can begin. You’re not going to suddenly be able to all see each other’s Tumblr posts, of course, but the cast are now in the choir room, so initial meetings can take place. There would be no reason for the characters to be at the school, given that it’s Sunday evening, and the cast don’t know the addresses of the characters, nor do they even know they’re going to be here yet, so the meetings won’t be that simple. When the cast wake up, their posts can be treated as FACE TO FACE, so please, discuss this OOC who you’re going to face to face with. The cast can get out of the school, if they dare to, and if they happen to stumble into a character while outside, that’s totally fine. Just make sure meetings are in the face to face format, too.
Despite how unrealistic this might be, we’re going to ask everybody to be as realistic about this as possible. They’re meeting their doubles, people are going to freak out and be apprehensive, but we can make it work! Everything from here is totally up to you. Please also note, they can bump into a character/cast member who is not their specific counterpart, that’s totally fine.
