Getting Ready for the Fall

It has been a long time since, I’ve had the chance to write a blog post.  If you have been with us this summer you know why I’ve been so busy.  If you haven’t joined us this year, you should.

Last August we were hit by Hurricane Irene, and the fall season was not the same.  The leaves didn’t change the same as the usually do.  Well this year should be different.  You can tell once you get outside that a great fall is on its way.  We’re expecting cool yet comfortable weather and the mountains to be painted with the colors of changing leaves.

Other than the changing leaves another great reason to visit The Thompson House is our stay and golf weekend special.  Our packages start at only $108.00 per person per night and include breakfast, dinner, and 18 holes of golf at Windham Country Club with a cart.  If you want to see beautiful mountains in the fall, the best way to do so is on a golf cart.
