Windmill Wednesday

Fun Satuday find by Lori Elfers Via Flickr: Jon and I took a trip to Amarillo TX on a day trip just to get away. On the way home we came across the J.B. Buchanan Windmill Park in Spearman TX
windmill and silo by wdterp Via Flickr: I usually don't post two photos in one day, but I remembered this one I took back in August, and since it is Wednesday I decided to put it on. HWW. Actually this rural scene has about everything-a windmill, nice old silo, a machine shed, and if you look close, an old tractor and a not too bad sky. Now if there were just a few hay bales....
Apologies for all the lighthouse spam earlier. From time to time I like to search for lighthouses and reblog whatever new content I find, and today I found a lot.
Anyway, today is Wednesday, so here are some screens from the Mission Impossible adventure world, which features a cute little mission involving a wind farm.
The ‘Sir Kled’ skin for the new League of Legends champion has splash art that perhaps alludes to Don Quixote with its windmill background
I’m amazed at how many of these guys are used for target practice.
DogDays_DayOnTheRoad_148 by Mark Stumme Via Flickr: Thought I should try a few more windmills for this week.
where the wild wind blows.... by Bill Via Flickr: Iconic scene at an abandoned Iowa farm. When I first saw this location early last year,it was notable for the big windmill standing next to the house, visible from far away. When rural abandonment expert(and finder of the property)Aces & Eights Photography revisited the location last spring he came across this scene.Sad,but you can't make this stuff up.... Aces & Eights great set of this property(and thanks again for the heads up!): www.flickr.com/photos/acesandeightsphotography/albums/721... Have a great windmill Wednesday all!
