Me: Hey, do you have a plant growing on your windowpane?
My little sister: There’s poison ivy growing between two layers of glass, why?
Me: It escaped containment
Her: What do you mean- oh no.

~The little things~
A couple years ago I found this mystery plant dying in the discount section of the hardware store without an identification tag.
No one knew what it was, or if it would even survive, but I took it home anyway.
Over the years it's grown into a lovely green vine that climbs my window and greets me when I wake, but without any flowers, I was still in the dark as to its identity.
Cut to the other day when I entered my room after a particularly turbulent day only to find that for the first time ever my mystery plant had bloomed!
Turns out it's a Bougainvillea!
Thank you little plant, and to my friends for brightening my day when I need it the most. Thank you. 💗

Her name is Fiona.
I think my indoor garden does best with a touch of Studio Ghibli.
