How to check Windows 10 Version and Build Number
In this video tutorial we are going to show you that, how to check or find Windows 10 OS version and Build Number, you can do that by RUN command...
In past you may not have thought of Windows 10 Build number and Version unless it's the part of your job. But these things become more important with Windows 10 release.
Microsoft always used build numbers with Windows OS. They represent significant updates to Windows. Traditionally, most people have referred to Windows based on the major, named version they’re using—Windows Vista, 7, 8, and so on.
After the release of Windows 10, things have changed a lot. For one thing, Microsoft claims there will be no more new versions of Windows—Windows 10 is here to stay. Here’s how to find out what build—and edition and version—of Windows 10 you’re running.
1. Open RUN by typing Run at start menu
2. Type "winver" without quote and click enter or hit OK
There you will find the version of Windows OS and its build number And you can also type winver at start menu directly, you will find the same type of information there.
