Anyone else notice that when Tom goes into the bathroom at Ruth’s house you can hear a scream and some moaning during and after the first flash of lighting?
Tom doesn’t notice it BECAUSE of the lighting and it made it hard to hear for us which was definitely intentional.
My theory is that Ruth died or was taken away by the island then and there and the Ruth Tom speaks with afterwards isn’t really her but the islands version of her,
Or, alternatively, it is Ruth but the Island (through hurting or possibly killing her) has taken her over to do its bidding.
There are a lot of holes in this theory but I know I definitely heard that scream! Let me know what you think :)
