The new edition of @windowtoworlds OC zine is out now, this time featuring two beautiful volumes of amazing art and writing!

Here is my piece featuring characters from my picture book Driftwood Becomes a Pirate.

Thanks to Yowl and Fangs, Tiffrius got a second chance, but starting over is never easy, and sometimes it hurts... As a creature of darkness, the sunlight must hurt him, but he hadn't expected to see the sunrise again, so he must have very mixed feelings about it.

As for the artist, the symbolism was too perfect to spare Tiff from the rays of sunlight, as nothing says "new beginnings" quite like a sunrise! Tiffrius will get a place in the shadows as soon as the others find out that their new crewmate doesn't handle sunlight well.
