Forget about window seats, pretty soon you’ll be fighting for the seats on top of an airplane.
According to CNN, aerospace technology company Windspeed has designed an airplane seat on top of a plane.
“Current inflight entertainment offerings have not changed much over the decades,” Windspeed told CNN. “We wanted to come up with a product that would provide a higher level of entertainment to reduce the boredom of long flights.”
The Guardian reports that the glass pod will provide passengers with a 360 view of the sky.
And don’t worry, the material Windspeed would use to create the pod is strong enough “to withstand all load conditions, including flight loads and birdstrike impact loads.”
Of course, if you want these seats you’re going to have to shell out mucho dollars. Good thing you have a few more years to save as the patent for the design is still pending.
