Aurora.
This year, I went to my beautiful church camp, Camp Aurora. I moved up a grade this year so I was in Senior High camp.
It was the most amazing experience of my life.
It honestly wasn't as emotional as previous years, but I knew that God was with me. Leaving didn't make me sad, because I have 2 more amazing years left to enjoy. I look forward to them more than anything else. I honestly can't describe what going to camp feels like, but I wanted to try.
I've seen the ocean and the mountains and I can honestly say this is the most beautiful place I've ever had the privilege to experience; however, it's dying out. It's old and buggy and hot, but it's an oasis. I can't stand to see it die because I want my children to go there, and the world can simply not afford to lose a place like this. Please. Please, if you know me and are going to be a freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior this year, contact me. I want everyone to experience what I have. I don't want to keep this place for myself; I want to share it. Please, help me keep this magic alive.
