im a cit (counselor in training) this summer and ohmygosh, i LOVE working with the littles. my favourite group so far has been the kids going into 1st grade, theyre so touchy and cuddly and they love when i orchestrate games, they want me to be included, omgggg, theyre the sweetest.

Everyone talks about "cottagecore", but might I suggest it's modern, equally-outdoorsy cousin: "cabincore". That's what I call my need to dress as a camp counselor all year round, at least. idk if anyone else has ever used that term, or of our means something else, but I like it.

I got this photo last night after my campers left and the cabin was completely empty aside from me and I was having a mental breakdown over getting a crappy assignment for next week (working the day camp 💀). I think the image perfectly captures the vibe of "cabincore". Other pictures I could find from my camera roll:

I am very grateful I took a 3d design course in college as I managed to fix not 1, but 2 pool tables this week by using cardboard and duct tape 😂
