Hey Bella! While taking my pooch 🐶 on a walk I stumbled into this... and I literally scream to my hubby as if I had just found the last Coke on the planet. 😂 Babe, the grapes 🍇 are turning red!!! Do you know what that means? 🤨 I sure didn’t until after several #wineclasses . I just didn’t think about the process the grapes take. All I knew is I just open the bottle of wine 🍷 and enjoy it. Now I have built more respect for every bottle that is made and that I open. This is call veraison, when the grapes turn red 🍇 . It’s one of the most crucial moments of the #vine cycle, when this takes place ... turning from green to red the grapes begin to taste sweeter too. It’s really cool to taste the grape when it’s green because it’s like a tart taste and then as it changes it’s color to red you gradually get to taste it’s sweetness. 😋 This usually takes place in Napa in late July in case you are wondering when to come visit our gorgeous valley to see veraison. But if you are in visiting vineyards in South America or Southern Hemisphere then veraison takes place late January. ¡Vale! . . . Bella, si deseas aprender más sobre la elaboración de vinos, te recomiendo sigas a @winefolly (esto no es un paid ad). Lo comparto porque es ahí, donde yo aprendí más acerca de vinos, además de las clases que tome. #sharingiscaring . . .
