In this episode of WWTV, I’m going to break down why a bottle of wine costs what it does. This is Part 1.1 of a 3-part (technically 4-part) series of shows about the retail price of wine. We'll talk about all the sexy stuff, like grape prices, barrel pricing, using Mega Purple, etc. This is actually broken down into two parts since the original episode came out to just about an hour. It is now split into two 30-minute videos. After covering how wine is priced, the next episode will give backgrounds on wines I'm going to use. And then, in final episode of this 4-part series, I'll evaluate the 6 Cabernet Sauvignons from the 2016 vintage from California. I'll be using my deductive tasting skills to determine if quality matches price. The prices of the wines range from $10 - 250. Will they all match the price? Will the most expensive wine suck and the cheapest wine win? Watch and find out!
