A frown was etched into Hanbei’s features, which appeared out of place on someone with normally such a sunny disposition. It was difficult to remain chipper, given their circumstances; perhaps this was punishment for allowing themselves to become too confident in their combined strategy. Still, allowing themselves to become completely surrounded… That was an embarrassing mistake. He was almost grateful that only Guan Xing was alongside him. During the panic, their only chance of safety was to withdraw into a nearby opening embedded in the cliff they’d been following.

“They’re getting smarter. Either we sorely underestimated their intel, or we’re becoming too lax in our defence and scouting.” He pondered aloud, his voice quiet. Too much noise would create an echo, which would only alert the enemies outside of their presence.

His eyes shifted from the cave floor to Xing. “Your leg. Has the bleeding stopped?”

“Is that so? You make it look simple, though I shall take your word on it,” Lu Xun smiled. During the few occasions where they rested in allied camps during expeditions, Lu Xun was mesmerized by Guan Xing’s seemingly effortless flight as he trained, the bulkiness of the wingblades adding to his respect toward him. 

“As for myself, lighter weapons help keep me nimble on my feet. I may not be the physically strongest, but I compensate with my agility. I would request a sparring match, but with opposite weapons, I imagine the result would be quite interesting,” he chuckled. Holding the blades in front of him, he admired the shine under the sunlight once again. 

“In truth… I long for this fighting to end. Our kingdoms may have different views in regards to the future, but peace is what we strive for, am I not wrong?”

Zhang Bao is under a drug that makes him severely aroused and your the only one who can help him or else it will paralyze him and then he will die

Xing sighed as he heard someone entered his room. “Bao, not now. I’m working” He said as his neck was kissed over and over again. He tried to push him away, but it was harder than expected. “What’s wrong with you?” He asked annoyed and looked at his boyfriend. He didn’t get an answer right away, but it was obvious that something was wrong with him. “Are you okay?” Xing asked worried. He stood up and supported Bao because he could barely stand on his feet alone. Suddenly, Bao pulled him into a tight embrace and whispered something into his ear. Surprised, Xing tried to bring some distance between them.“Are you serious? If you just try to make me leave my work and spent time with you, I have to say you had better ideas before.” Bao shook his head. Xing knew Bao wouldn’t lie to him, so it must be true. He sighed released himself out of the embrace. “Then… Let me just lock my door first.” Good thing all members of his family were outside right now…

Xing was sleeping peacefully, but woke up immediately as he heard someone was opening his door. He was already thinking about how he could defend himself against the intruder, as he suddenly felt someone lying down to the bed with him. Two strong arms were wrapped around him and now he knew the identity of the intruder. Xing sighed. He had told Bao so many times he shouldn’t come at night without permission, someone could see him. But he just didn’t want to listen. Xing sighed again, but then smiled. He decided to let Bao sleep here tonight without an discussion first. In the end, he would sleep here anyway.
