New headcanon:
In a wingfic, Nico would of course be a raven. Birds of death, all black, obvious one.
But Percy. Percy would definitely be a kingfisher. The name alone screams Poseidon, to be honest (I love the name. In German it’s just “ice bird”). Also it is a blue birdie and Percy has to have blue wings. And it’s cute as fuck.
And now imagine how adorable it would look if a kingfisher flittered around a very unimpressed raven, just fluttering wildly around in the air.
