Thor/Steve | Why the fluff not?
It wasn't often that the team was stationed somewhere for a while (with the time frame implying a temporary move) which was so peaceful almost all the time. Then again, they did have their days where they'd have to travel out and secure some territory or clear out some warehouse, but more often than not these jobs were for two men (or women) or less, and so the old-looking but comfortable house on the hillside always housed at least a few of the avengers at a time. Naturally, SHIELD and the Director knew just who to send for any given job, and as of right now everyone was off doing some glorious duty- save two. It was an interesting combination to leave behind, just because Thor and Steve had so much in common that unlike any other pair within the team, they could pretty much spend every hour of every day together, and that day started early. Very early. The Captain was a little more scheduled in his wake up times than Thor, but occasionally they'd deviate- and on days like today, Steve could walk into the quaint little kitchen space with golden streams of dawn pouring through the lattice windows and see Thor sipping from a mug of coffee he quite competently managed to make for himself. A slight smile pulled up on the soldier's lips at the sight- he'd tell himself it was just because Thor had woken up recently and so his hair wasn't quite as glorious as it normally was, though Steve didn't mind, and he walked up behind him to pull himself up to sit on the counter, legs dangling and facing Thor's back. "Can't believe you beat me today," He started casually, reaching an arm out and annoyingly flicking the back of the Aesir's hair. Touching it had probably already become a problem.
Journal of the Displaced Man
2/18/13
Dear Journal,
I didn’t have time to write in you yesterday. Well that’s actually not true. I did have the time but I turned clumsy for 10 hours and, every time I tried to pick up a pencil or pen, they ended up shooting out of my hand and rolling under the bed. I couldn’t even go to the kitchen to get something to eat out of worry I’d stab someone.
I am back to normal today and I have good news. Thor found Harry! Apparently, he rolled into Thor’s room which is strange but I’m glad he’s back. I’ll have to repay Thor somehow later on. I wonder if he’d like to go see a baseball game with me.

Thread-updater! #2
I'm updating all my threads and just shooting some messages to my partners by tagging them in it. I've been sick the past week and I've just been a bad RP partner in general the past month, so here's to a change in that.
6. captain-barbossa-tumbles-apples: heya dearie! I just now noticed that you replied... one and a half month ago? How did I miss that?! I've kind of grown bored of Belle-and-pirates plots at the moment though. (I blame Hook. The bastard put Belle through too much abuse in the show.) Not sure how I want to continue. Do you feel like a reboot or anything of the sort? Another plot maybe? Just lemme know if you're bored. 7. wingedthunderhead: Alright, so we're scrapping confused and will do something new! I look forward to it, shoot me some ideas alright? Maybe something with Belle in the Enchanted Forest? (Which could be one of the nine realms?) 8. spikeiscaptainperoxide: Deactivated. :'( Why? Spike was so amazing. :'( 9. Belle and Hank: Ah I love this thread and I got it in my drafts. I made a banner too! Will try and upload that one too. :-) 10. Belle and Sherlock: OUR FANS ARE WAITING! Seriously though, they are. Just lemme know when you're ready to continue, alright? :-D We need to get John better! Sherlock needs his Jawn!
Alright. What are the best qualities of your teammates?
Bruce is...the most humble, respectful person I know and I don't think he has it in him to make anyone uncomfortable ever. It's admirable how talented he is while still seeking zero praise. Natasha's got the whole professionalism thing down pat. If I had to trust anyone to go undercover, lie with a straight face...win a staring contest, it'd probably be her. More than I can say for myself, my poker face is pathetic.Clint's a leader, like me. He knows what has to be done and I'd trust him to do it all, too. And well, of course. ...I might even go as far as saying 'flawlessly'. Anyone can know what they're doing and do it well, but there's something else you gotta have to be able to command and delegate and guide, and whatever it is, he's got it.Hulk doesn't sugar-coat anything, and even if he can (naturally) be abrasive, people should listen more to what he's saying because sometimes the things that come out of his mouth need to be heard but never are because people fear saying it. I doubt the list of things Hulk fears saying is very long. ...I doubt his list of fears period is very long.Thor's the most welcoming, warm person I think I've ever met. If you aren't affected by his demeanor and smile, I don't really know what's wrong with you. I've never seen him pass one judgment about anyone, I didn't know people like that existed prior.Tony's incredibly generous. I think the public seems him (unfairly) as selfish and conceited, but I'm pretty sure he'd give his friends and team anything they wanted if they asked- and usually, they don't even need to.
What are the worst qualities of your teammates?
[[WOW HARSH]]...Right.Bruce isn't confident enough, he's a smart guy, a talented guy and he's gotta start believing it himself...Alternatively, Hulk should probably work on 'selective honesty' when it comes to certain things. Love that he speaks his mind but sometimes it's best to just keep it to yourself.Tony doesn't take care of himself and he needs to start learning how, just in case someday there isn't anyone around to do it for him. (God forbid.)Clint is convinced that he always has something to prove. It's almost a good thing until it gets to the point where competition overpowers common sense.Natasha- I think a lot of the time she's got this twisted idea of how she's supposed to be or supposed to act, and so her actual self- who she really is as a person, is backburnered. That's not a good way to live.Thor is way too quick to apologize and take the blame, even if or sometimes especially if it's not even his fault in the least. Thor's a prince and commander and he's used to taking all this responsibility, but it'd be in everyone's best interest if he started to say 'No, this was your fault, not mine.'
