Hey, I've been diagnosed with ADHD when I was, I think about 11, but recently I've been thinking I might be autistic too, I'm 17 atm. Autism as far as I know is ever present and I wasn't diagnosed with autism at 11. My question is, could I be autistic if I wasn't diagnosed with it before? Sorry for my inability to do words

It’s absolutely possible to make it to 17, and even wayyyyy later, without ever having been diagnosed. ADHD is both often misdiagnosed instead of autism, and often comorbid with autism. The two are alike in a lot of ways.

If you were tested for autism and they ruled that out however, then it’s more doubtfuf.
